OECM at the Canadian Public Procurement Council (CPPC) Forum
The Canadian Public Procurement Council (CPPC) hosted its Annual Forum in Calgary, Alberta, from April 30 to May 2, 2023. In addition to sponsoring the event, OECM’s Vice-President of Supply Management and Customer Relations, Karen Owen, participated in an insightful National Cooperative Procurement Partners (NCPP) Roundtable Discussion titled Taking a Road Trip with Group Buying. The discussion addressed the current functions of procurement, the emerging trends that will continue to impact the future of procurement, and the expansion of strategic partnerships to advance our relationships and secure opportunities.
On Day 2 of the Forum, OECM’s Director, Strategic Sourcing, Perry Arzumanian, shared an engaging and interactive presentation titled, The New Normal 2.0: Navigating the Ever-Changing Supply Chain Landscape. New Challenges, Opportunities, Best Practices, and Resilient Procurement Strategies. In this session, OECM discussed the supply chain landscape in Ontario, how to navigate the evolving and complex supply chain ecosystem, and the benefits of cross-sector collaboration in maximizing value and increasing spend under management.
