Celebrating Supplier Partner Excellence: 2024 Supplier Recognition Program Awards Ceremony

On May 15, 2024, OECM proudly hosted the 2024 Supplier Recognition Program (SRP) Awards Ceremony at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites. The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of our Diamond and Platinum Supplier Partners, whose dedication to innovation, partnership, and responsible business practices continues to raise the bar across the public procurement landscape.

This year’s ceremony brought together supplier partners from across Ontario, recognizing their excellence and commitment to providing exceptional service and overall value to OECM Customers.

In total, we awarded 16 Diamond and 19 Platinum OECM Supplier Partners during the event.

How Business Can Create Global Solutions for Local Impact

During the ceremony, we were honoured to hear from our Board Chair, Dr. F. Haider Alvi, who shared insightful remarks on the growing importance of ESG within a transnational context. Dr. Alvi, who is also a Professor of Innovation Finance at Athabasca University, recently spoke about how his research explores humility, understanding, and true partnership between the Global North and Global South, and how it can address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, from climate change to economic inequality.
