Join the Canadian Collaboration For Sustainable Procurement (CCSP)‘s annual Indigenous procurement session, where they dive into two CCSP member’s Indigenous Procurement Programs and how their learnings from engagement with Indigenous Rightsholders and businesses shaped the components of their organizational approach. Patrice Likamshum, Director, Business Development, from OECM, will speak to the four components of its program: Training, Policy & Process, Indigenous Customers, and Strategic Partnerships as well as the creation of its Indigenous Marketplace. Amit Patil, Director, Supply Management, from The City of Calgary, will then share their program development journey, highlighting the unique Indigenous business Participation Maturity Model and the actions staff will take to reduce barriers and increase participation in the City’s procurement processes.
