Introducing OECM’s Supplier Partner Council
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Supplier Partner Council (SPC) to serve as a direct conduit for communication and supplier engagement with OECM. Through the SPC, OECM is committed to further strengthening the relationship between our supplier partner community and OECM.
In 2022, OECM piloted a “Supplier Partner Working Group.” This working group was instrumental in sharing supplier insights with OECM. Building on this initiative, OECM transitioned this working group to a Council to provide strategic insights and serve as an advisory body to OECM. The SPC will provide insights into emerging trends and issues pertinent to the public sector procurement landscape, as well as evolving trends and priorities. Through an exchange of open dialogue and knowledge sharing, SPC members and OECM will collaborate to develop and implement strategic inputs to enhance our joint value proposition to our customers.
To ensure diversity and strategic representation, the SPC comprises twelve OECM strategic suppliers across various industries, geographic locations, and business sizes. The SPC will be chaired jointly by OECM’s Director of Supplier Relationship Management, Khusen Shukarov, and a co-chair elected by the SPC members. The memberships will be reviewed every two years to maintain diversification and opportunities for other strategic suppliers.
The following members currently serve on the Supplier Partner Council:
- Anton Korol (Procurement Manager, Colliers Project Leaders Inc.)
- Barry Taylor (Manager of Pricing Excellence, Swish Maintenance Ltd.)

OECM’s Director of Supplier Relationship Management, Khusen Shukurov, says: “We are excited to elevate our efforts and enhance our business practices by integrating supplier guidance and direction as a critical component in providing strategic insights to OECM. Our supplier partners play a pivotal role in OECM’s success, and through the SPC, we aim to facilitate greater engagement and communication with our supplier community.”
Barry Taylor, Manager of Pricing Excellence at Swish Maintenance Ltd. and a member of the Supplier Partner Council, adds, “As someone who has previously served as the Co-Chair of the OECM’s Supplier Working Group, I appreciate the benefits of collaborating with other suppliers. This type of collaboration brings best practices and challenges to the table and helps us envision the next evolution of services for our customers.
