Introducing the OECM Facilities and Operations Spotlight
Welcome to the inaugural issue of our OECM Facilities and Operations Spotlight – a new quarterly newsletter focused on the unique and varied needs of our customers on a growing number of Facilities and Operations agreements. I am especially proud of the expansion and growth that we have seen since our initial push in 2016 to bring more Facilities-related agreements into the OECM fold. In this past year, we have further prioritized your needs by putting a dedicated OECM team into place, engaging with several Facilities category experts, including subject matter leaders from across the education sector, and introducing a record seven new agreements, each tailored to fulfill your specific Facilities-related requirements.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the way we do business across all sectors. It has forced us to pivot quickly, work differently, and reimagine all aspects of our existing business areas. For OECM, this translates into a need to deliver on proactive collaboration, effective communication and coordination, strategic planning, agile procurement practices, and better use of technology and innovation. These reflect our goals when it comes to supporting our customers’ needs for their Facilities and Operations requirements – as customer demands for Facilities-related agreements grow, so too does OECM’s portfolio.
We are excited to share this new communication with you, our valued customers. It includes relevant Facilities and Operations news and updates – current and upcoming sourcing projects, process enhancements, innovations, sector trends, supplier partner knowledge sharing opportunities, and much more. Among other notable items, this first issue of the OECM Facilities and Operations Spotlight focuses on showcasing our track record of growth and our dedicated Facilities Priority Projects (FPP) Team who continue to work collaboratively to meet your needs. I also encourage and invite you to share your feedback with us throughout this journey to ensure that we are providing you with timely news and valuable information.
