MCIPS Bursary Program

This bursary application must be completed in full. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Please email your completed application to rushelle.mitchell@oecm.ca by Monday, August 31, 2026.

Bursary applications which are complete and meet the eligibility requirements outlined below will be entered into a pool of applicants.

Note: Bursaries will be awarded to applicants who can demonstrate financial need, including a lack of organizational funding, and explain how participation in this program will benefit them, their organization, and the community they serve.

The bursary will fund tuition fees for two individuals in the NISCL-CSCL and MCIPS dual-designation program.

  1. One bursary will be awarded to a professional eligible to begin at level one of the dual designation program – Practitioner. See the diagram below.
  2. The second bursary will be awarded to another professional eligible to begin at the second and final level of the dual designation program – Advanced Practitioner. See the diagram below.
    1. The bursary application process includes an additional requirement, namely the completion of any one of the two items listed below:
      1.   Practitioner level of the Applied Learning Program
      2.   Successful completion of the Competency Assessment within the past calendar year.

NISCL Dual Designation Program:

NISCL Dual Designation Program - Level One: Practitioner (1 Year, $8500), Level Two: Advanced Practioner (1.5 Years, $9,995), NISCL-CSCL & MCIPS Dual Designations

Upon completion of both levels, or upon completion of the Advanced Practitioner level only (applicable to those eligible for direct entry to Advanced Practitioner, see 2.a. above), candidates will earn both the:

  1. National Institute for Supply Chain Leaders Certified Supply Chain Leader (NISCL-CSCL), a Canadian certified designation.
  2. Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS), a global designation, eligible for MCIPS Chartered status after just 1 year!
