OECM is pleased to announce the appointment of Bo Wandschneider, Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the University of Toronto, to its Customer Council Committee, effective December 18th, 2023. Bo joins the committee as an advisory member representing Ontario’s university sector.
Bo is a seasoned leader in higher education, with extensive experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) at both the University of Guelph (Deputy) and Queen’s University, before his current position. In this role, he has initiated and fostered several collaborative projects across regions, provinces, and the national ecosystem, covering areas such as data management, information security, and digital transformation. Bo has also been actively involved in various not-for-profit (NFP) organizations, serving on their boards and executive committees in a variety of roles, further demonstrating his versatility and commitment. He is a graduate of Queen’s University and the University of Guelph and holds the Institute-Certified Director (ICD.D) designation.
