The OECM team visits Sudbury and Thunder Bay
Last month, OECM embarked on two trips to Northern Ontario to engage with our colleagues and customers in the municipal sector and to strengthen our relationships with Northern institutions. Our executive team was in Thunder Bay from November 2-4 and in Sudbury from November 23-25. As a collaborative initiative, the Municipal Finance Officers’ Association of Ontario (MFOA) and OECM developed a workshop for Northern Municipalities in both cities.
The workshops featured financial experts to share their insight on reserves, long-term financial planning, asset management, investments, cash flows, and more. Karen Owen, OECM’s Vice President, Supply Management and Customer Relations, Jim Hadjiyianni, Director, Business Development, Perry Arzumanian, Director, Strategic Sourcing, and Patrice Likamshum, Senior Manager, Business Development, shared their knowledge, and engaged with industry partners. OECM took this opportunity to share information and updates and to meet members from the Township of Strong. Going forward, OECM is planning visits with other municipalities across Ontario as we develop lasting collaborative relationships and strengthen existing bonds. Below are some images from OECM’s visit to the North!
