OECM and Dell Technologies Partner to Deliver Impactful Professional Learning Program for Educators
Over the past few months, OECM has joined forces with Platinum supplier partner Dell Technologies, and education and leadership consultants Advanced Learning Partnerships, to provide a customized Professional Learning (PL) program for Ontario’s K-12 and post-secondary educators (i.e., teachers, classroom educators, principals, coaches, faculty members, etc.). The program consists of interactive and diverse, application-based virtual webinars, courses, and small-group collaborations that are free for educators to attend. This opportunity is available exclusively to School Board, College, and University educators only and offered through our End-User Computing Devices and Services agreement with Platinum Supplier Partner, Dell Technologies.
The program began on August 30, 2021, and was recently refreshed to include new courses and webinar sessions now extending to February 2022. The program has been a tremendous success so far, receiving traction and positive feedback on OECM and Dell Technologies’ social media channels and high attendance rates. Popular sessions that address relevant and pressing issues currently impacting conventional pedagogy and learning practices include Shift to Positive: Create a better world with social media and technology, Digital Storytelling: Tools & Ideas, and Indigenous Education through Inquiry. OECM looks forward to participating in future initiatives that empower, educate, and enlighten our education professionals.
