Welcome to the second issue of the OECM Municipal Marketplace – a quarterly newsletter prepared exclusively for our municipal customers and partners. OECM continues to experience consistent growth as a leader in procurement for the municipal and broader public service sectors. Since the release of the first issue of this newsletter, an additional 20 municipal sector customers began utilizing our Marketplace, which represents a total of 272 organizations within Ontario’s municipal sector that are currently leveraging OECM agreements. Some of our topmost utilized agreements include the End-User Computing Devices and ServicesOffice and Production Multi-Function Devices and Related Services (MFD)Custodial Supplies and Equipment, and Software License Products and Related Services.

In this issue we’re thrilled to feature an exclusive interview with Dan Munshaw, Manager of Supply Management for the City of Thunder Bay in our first Municipal Customer Spotlight. His interview offers insight on his city’s long-standing association with OECM, opportunities for growth and change, and the pressing issues that are driving the decision-making processes for the municipal sector. We are also sharing highlights from OECM’s virtual visit to this year’s Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) AGM and Conference and a behind-the-scenes at OECM to meet our dedicated Customer Support Team. The Municipal Marketplace Newsletter is your forum for engagement with OECM – we invite you to share your feedback with us to ensure that we continue to support you by providing relevant and valuable information for your organizations.

Sincerely,

John A. Sabo B.Math; M.Ed; M.FAc; CPA,CA; C.Dir; A.C.C.
