Originally founded in Toronto, Ontario in 1928 as Atlas Roofing Services, the company began as a local residential roofing contractor serving the Toronto and surrounding areas. As the business grew, Atlas expanded into the industrial/ commercial/ institutional (ICI) sector, and in 1968 acquired Apex Roofing and incorporated as Atlas-Apex Roofing Inc. Atlas-Apex Roofing Inc. is a private, 100% Canadian-owned company.
