Now known as Groupe la Québécoise, the original company, La Québécoise was founded in 1965 by M. Serge Gingras in response to a need for school bus transportation in the Québec region. The company grew and became one of the largest integrated transport company in the province of Québec. Over the years the organization diversified in all types of ground transportation but also added helicopters and airplanes operations to its portfolio. Even with 1250 employees operating in all part of Canada and United States, Groupe la Québécoise remains a family business and is still closely managed by M. Gingras and his sons who are deeply involved in the community.
Since 1965 our Headquarter is in Québec city. We own and operate 20 large hi-end maintenance facilities all over the Québec Province, staffed with highly trained personnel. Groupe La Québécoise can perform heavy maintenance, is equipped with state-of-the-art paint room and automated washing tunnel. Our preventive maintenance schedule exceeds regulation requirements.
Our organization maintains an excellent safety record. In 2010 Groupe La Québécoise invested 1 million dollars in the purchase of a bus simulator. Deeply committed to passenger safety, we offer adapted training to our professionals. This training prepares our drivers for any emergency situations and difficult conditions they could encounter on North American roads.
On top of our charter business, we operate a regular schedule between several cities. Over the year we received several hi profiles mandate from popular TV shows we fulfilled with flying colors. We were proud to have transported and still transport our finest athletes from most prestigious Universities.
