CL Zorbit’s Math Adventure is a blended learning platform that builds students’ conceptual understanding of math through the use of digital and offline tools and resources. Its foundation is the Zorbits game for students that features a broad library of activities based on research-backed models and manipulatives embedded in an exciting adventure. Zorbits empowers teachers and students to discover their inner math person.
A dashboard for teachers allows them to craft rich math lessons, monitor growth, and devise student-centred intervention strategies. Zorbits is designed to support both classroom and virtual learning.
The Zorbit’s team works directly with district leaders to ensure effective implementation and return on investment based on the district’s goals and vision for achievement in K-3 math. This includes professional learning opportunities, data analysis, and engagement campaigns. The Zorbit’s team provides white-glove support to every teacher, school, and district partner, ultimately becoming an extension of a district’s math team.
Zorbit’s Math Adventure has been used in Ontario classrooms since 2016. Zorbit’s is currently working with nine school districts – six of whom have implemented the platform board-wide. In each case, districts state that Zorbit’s is having a significant impact on student mathematical achievement and mindset.
