Welcome Message from OECM’s President and CEO, John Sabo | Fall 2020

Welcome to the Fall 2020 edition of the OECM Connection, our quarterly newsletter for OECM customers, supplier partners and others interested in collaborative sourcing and OECM. We launched the OECM Connection one year ago, as a unique, centralized meeting place for our vast OECM family – supplier partners, customers, employees and other stakeholders – to connect and access the latest news on collaborative sourcing, OECM agreements and much more. It was also created to showcase the various ways in which we are leading opportunities for greater collaboration amongst and between all our partners and across sectors.

This past quarter, OECM proudly reached a momentous new milestone, celebrating $2 billion in accumulated collaborative spend. We also continued to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, working collaboratively with our supplier partners to ensure our customers are informed and supported as they face new challenges and impacts. This includes providing ongoing supplier partner updates via our COVID-19 Customer Newsletter, participating in collaborative efforts with government partners including: MGCS, MEDU and MCU to provide supports such as cleaning and PPE supplies and digital learning tools, as well as adding new product offerings such as video conferencing licenses (including Zoom) and reusable and disposable face masks to our growing Marketplace.
