OECM Goes to AMO 2021!

OECM was honoured to attend and exhibit at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) 2021 Virtual AGM and Conference, held August 16-18. This year’s interactive conference was a valuable opportunity for municipalities to connect, network, and discover prospects for cross-sector collaboration, as well as engage with organizations providing products and services for the municipal sector.

Did you know? Over 80 conference attendees visited OECM’s virtual exhibition booth! Attendees were able to connect with OECM’s Customer Service Delivery Manager and Business Development Lead to learn more about our organization, our latest product and service offerings, and how the municipal sector can leverage our agreements for their diverse business needs.

• Office and Production Multi-Function Devices and Related Services (MFD)

OECM representatives participated in several program and breakout sessions and attended the three Ministers’ Forum sessions, moderated by journalist John Michael McGrath. We also attended a talk on the digitization of municipalities and the implementation of electronic-permitting technology to digitize processes like issuing permits and licenses for greater efficiencies and productivity. OECM live tweeted during the event, including sessions on cross-sector collaboration between Ontario Health Teams and municipalities and economic recovery and growth in Ontario.

The Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, kick-started the conference with a keynote address that expressed the province’s commitment to ensuring a safe return to school this September. Ford also addressed the implementation of thorough inspection and maintenance of ventilation systems in schools to optimize air filtration and air quality. OECM has been active on this front, supporting our School Board customers to address their air system improvement needs with products and services accessible through a variety of contracts that are all available to our municipal customers. For example, the Commercial Air Treatment Technology, Related Products and Optional Services, HVAC Commissioning, Recommissioning and Retrocommissioning Services, and HVAC System Air Filter and HEPA Air Filtration Units and Related Products agreements.
