Acadience Learning is a research organization dedicated to providing leadership in the field of education. We aim to support educators by conducting high-quality research, developing innovative assessment solutions, creating practical educational tools, and delivering comprehensive professional development opportunities in order to help improve student, teacher and school outcomes.
Acadience Learning has been supporting educators in the United States, Canada and internationally for more than 20 years. Our lead authors, Dr. Roland Good and Dr. Ruth Kaminski were pioneers in Curriculum-Based Measurement and General Outcome Measurement. They are the original authors of DIBELS assessment (e.g., DIBELS Next, DIBELS 6th Ed, and all prior DIBELS work). Along with their research team, they have developed assessments for preschool literacy, middle school literacy, reading diagnostics and elementary mathematics. They have also development a data management system to support educators to use Acadience data at the student, class, school and board level. When educators know where students are and where they need to be, they are empowered to improve learning outcomes.
