Advancing OECM’s Thought Leadership
Thought leadership continues to be a pivotal area of work for OECM as we strive to share best practices and unique perspectives that promote discourse, drive change, and inspire industry members and peers. Recently, our Director of Finance and Corporate Services, and Business Intelligence lead, Belinda Yu, shared her insights on using business intelligence to improve procurement decisions in the latest Ontario Public Buyers Association Caveat Emptor e-Newsletter. In June, our Director of Communications and Customer Relations, Sonia Gallo, moderated an informative session on Supplier Governance and Relationship Management with distinguished panelists Kiruba Sankar, Director of Program Support Policy and Development at the City of Toronto, and Isaac Ling, Director of Sales at CDW Canada.
The session, titled Supplier Governance and Relationship Management: Increase Collaboration and Build Relationships to Improve Efficiency, took place during the Public Sector Procurement and Supply Chain Conference hosted by the Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) as part of their flagship Leadership Series offering.
