Earlier this year, OECM announced our plans to lead an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System(s) project with an anticipated launch by mid-2022. Several District School Boards (DSBs) expressed their interest in participating in the development of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for this initiative.
Since October, OECM facilitated a variety of highly targeted Project Validation Sessions with School Board representatives ranging in focus from IT, Human Resources, Payroll, Facilities, Finance, and Procurement. The objectives were to create awareness, establish critical engagement, optimize volunteer participation, and most importantly to ensure that the RFP reflects and validates the needs of our School Board sector customers. Presentations to several OASBO Committees also took place to ensure awareness and visibility of this RFP across the relevant functional committees.
To date, these discussions have been extremely collaborative and highly successful in helping us gather detailed requirements for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. To read more about this project, click here.
