ESG Materiality Assessment Project Update

February 26, 2023

Establishing an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework is essential for OECM to evaluate our overall impact on sustainability and ethical implications for procurement. It provides a comprehensive framework to assess our impact on society and the environment.

In December 2022, with the guidance of ESG Global Advisors, we held several ESG Materiality Assessment sessions with various stakeholder groups to develop a blueprint for OECM’s ESG strategy.

During our stakeholder consultations process, we identified and evaluated which environmental, social, and governance factors were most relevant to our organization and our stakeholders. We pinpointed the ESG issues that are most important to OECM’s long-term success, as well as prioritized actions that will help us manage those issues effectively.

Our Commitment to Sustainable Business Practices

Our commitment to ESG is an integral part of our business strategy, and by incorporating sustainability into everything we do, we will create long-term value for all of our stakeholders.

With the completion of the ESG Materiality Assessment, we will begin the development and operationalization of a formal ESG strategy in 2023. Stay tuned for more details to come on this exciting work, led by our Business Development team!
