OECM’s Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team plays a vital role in bridging communication between our organization and our customers, supplier partners, and stakeholders. A part of the Customer Relationship Management team, MarCom is overseen by Director of Communications and Customer Relations, Sonia Gallo, and led by Senior Manager, Kim Humphreys, with support from Corporate Communications Manager, Sharon Hayward, and Web Manager, Bradley Goldstein, and specialists Olivia Aita, Andrea Bach, Ambrose Lee, and Fatima Kazmi.

As the voice of the company, the MarCom team articulates our corporate engagements, business undertakings, contractual developments, and internal activities through several weekly, quarterly, and annual publications. MarCom works alongside OECM’s other key areas, such as Business Development, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Customer Support to gather information from these various teams and to ensure that this information is conveyed in a timely manner to all stakeholders. The team also facilitates and coordinates all of OECM’s outreach activities that take place locally, provincially and nationally. Humphreys shares her sentiments on providing direction to the MarCom team, “I am proud to lead a dynamic and diverse team comprised of individuals that bring a variety of expertise to our organization. It is challenging to encapsulate MarCom’s full scope of work because we play a functional role in multiple areas of the organization, while invariably upholding OECM’s vision to be the premier customer-driven supply management partner.”

The MarCom team produces expertly crafted communications that are targeted to the needs of our wide-ranging audiences and multiple communication channels. These include contractual updates, supplier partner promotions, new agreement launches, thought leadership pieces such as contributed articles and blog posts, social media content, presentations, conference materials, webinars, in-person outreach events, marketing collaterals, several newsletters, and any other relevant information for customers.
