Moneris was established in December of 2000 as a joint venture between Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Bank of Montreal (BMO). Moneris has a presence across Canada with 4 national offices, including its head office located in Toronto, Ontario. As one of the largest payment processors, Moneris is the only one able to provide robust payment solutions for physical, online, and mobile environments with access to dedicated support, integration, and service resources.

As an acquirer, Moneris will process, approve, and settle all sales transactions. We do not rely upon any third-party organizations to provide the core components of payment processing for our merchants. We manage the entire merchant partnership from card acceptance, gift and loyalty solutions, customer service, dedicated support, and terminal/hardware servicing. Further, Moneris’ dedicated local Client Integrations Specialists will assist you in the integration process, project management, and coordination with Moneris’ Development Helpdesk for final testing processes when required.
