Supply Chain Management Association Ontario: Spotlight on Education Sector

In December 2022, OECM hosted a virtual Live Chat Event in partnership with Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) titled “Spotlight on Education Sector With OECM.” The event featured members of our Customer Council Committee who participated in a panel discussion on current supply chain challenges, global logistics, and how to drive innovation in the field of procurement. The session was moderated by Perry Arzumanian, OECM’s Director of Strategic Sourcing.

As these experts shared their insights, attendees learned about the true value of collaboration. Brad Parkes, York University’s AVP of Facilities Services, highlighted the importance of prioritizing the planning and construction phases and “being open to new ideas and perspectives.” Sanjay Puri reinforced this notion and added that, “knowing the unknown is achievable only through collaborative efforts.” This Live Chat Event focused on collaboration and encouraged the establishment of joint initiatives that can help our customers achieve success.
