OECM Ready to Implement ESG Strategy
We have successfully entered Phase 3 of OECM’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy development and implementation roadmap. Sustainability and good governance are top priorities for OECM as we face the challenges of climate change, resource depletion, and environmental degradation.

Since the last edition of the OECM Connection, we have introduced 10 new and re-tendered agreements to our Marketplace, providing access to quality products and tailored services for various sectors. Here’s a look at the latest awarded agreements.

Sourcing Plan 2024 | Upcoming Agreements
To meet the needs of our customers, OECM’s Strategic Sourcing team presented a robust Sourcing Plan. Our Marketplace will see an addition of 41 new agreements over the next two years, including new categories and enhancements to retendered agreements.
Several new and re-tendered agreements are currently in progress and require Project Advisors and/or Evaluators.

OECM Raises $15K For the Daily Bread Food Bank!
Little drops make an ocean – through the generosity of our customers, partners, sector leaders, and staff members, as well as supplier partners who graciously donated raffle prizes, we raised $15K in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank during OECM’s 3rd Leadership & Collaboration Symposium. We have raised over $38K for this worthy cause to date!

Our partnership with the National Institute of Supply Chain Leaders (NISCL) continues to expand! OECM is pleased to share that we are now the National Public Sector Champion of NISCL, an opportunity that reinforces our joint commitment to strengthening the supply chain network as NISCL expands their reach across Canada.

OECM’s participating supplier partners have the opportunity to shine like a ‘Diamond’ in our 2024 Supplier Recognition Program as we unveil enhancements to the program’s evaluation criteria and methodology, as well as a new recognition level.

Fostering Innovation and Driving Value Through OECM’s Sector Success Sharing
Sharing is caring, and we stand by that – OECM’s Sector Success Sharing reserve fund is intended to help facilitate collaboration and strategic partnerships and encourage innovation across all public sectors and industries. In December 2023, OECM’s Board approved an increase of $1.6 million, bringing the SSS reserve fund to an impressive total of $10 million.

OECM’s 3rd Leadership & Collaboration Symposium was a roaring success! Attended by nearly 200 guests, the symposium was a forum for industry leaders, sector partners, and accomplished speakers to come together for two full days and explore opportunities for advancing collaboration within Ontario’s supply chain.
