OECM Receives an Honourable Mention at the 2024 CAUBO Quality and Productivity Awards Program
OECM was recognized with an Honourable Mention through the 2024 Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO) Quality and Productivity Awards Program for our efforts on a joint procurement for an Electronic Research Administration System (eRAS).

OECM and eCampusOntario Collaborate to Establish a Shared Services Program
We recently established a formal collaborative partnership with eCampusOntario to develop and implement a shared services program for its member institutions. This partnership aims to increase cross-sector collaboration, promote innovation and transformative learning tools, and expand student engagement.

New Education Initiative Partnership Established with OPBA
OECM and the Ontario Public Buyers Association (OPBA) embarked on a three-year partnership in support of the revitalization of the OPBA’s Principles of Effective Public Procurement Program and the development of a modernized learning platform, the Public Procurement Learning Lab.

Latest Agreements Awarded
Since the last edition of the OECM Connection, we introduced several new and re-tendered agreements to our Marketplace, granting access to a list of qualified suppliers offering premium products and tailored services for various sectors.
We also launched the Signage Products and Related Services agreement, a procurement initiated at the request of the Council of Senior Business Officials (COSBO).

As we diversify and expand our Marketplace, we will feature a significant number of new and re-tendered agreements in the next quarter. OECM is also seeking Project Advisors and Evaluators to provide strategic expertise and guidance on many of our sourcing initiatives.

Three New Members Appointed to OECM’s Customer Council Committee
OECM’s Customer Council Committee (CCC) recently welcomed Jennifer Churchill, CEO of Empowered Kids Ontario-Enfants Avenir Ontario (EKO), Bryan Martin, Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk and Treasurer for the Township of South Algonquin, and André Morin, Director of Corporate Services/Treasurer for the Town of St. Marys. Jennifer joins the committee as an advisory member representing Ontario’s broader public sector, while Bryan and André join as advisory members representing Ontario’s municipal sector.
