Playground, Play Structures and Related Services

OECM’s Playground, Play Structures and Related Services agreement provides customers with a streamlined way to access qualified supplier partners for planning, building and maintaining safe, engaging play environments.

Through this agreement, customers can procure Site Assessment, Decommissioning, Preparation and Project Design services, Supply and Installation of products, initial third-party inspections, Warrantee services, and Optional Products and Services.

What You’ll Get

Planning and Site Readiness

Site assessment, soil testing, decommissioning of existing equipment, base installations, utility locates, and preparation for new playground installations.

Design and Approvals

Conceptual and detailed project design with 2D and 3D renderings, support for customer committees and public consultations, permit applications, municipal coordination, and site-specific approvals.

Supply and Installation

Coordinated delivery and installation of products, certified installers, site oversight, construction scheduling, and deficiency review and rectification.

Inspection and Compliance

Initial third-party inspections by Canadian Certified Playground Inspectors, CSA-Z614 compliance documentation, and alignment with AODA, OHSA, IPEMA (or equivalent), Ontario Building Code (OBC), and local bylaws.

Playground and Play Structure Products

Slides, climbers, swings (belt, bucket, inclusive), sport accessories (soccer and basketball nets), bridges, tunnels, ramps, balance beams, canopies, roof shelters, ropes, rubber tires, climbing chain nets, and sensory panels (tic-tac-toe, maze, textured).

Optional Products

Splashpads, skateboard structures and targeted fitness structures, including supply and installation.

Warranty and Documentation

Warranty coverage for products, workmanship and installation, as-built drawings, manuals, maintenance schedules, and training at project handover.

Ordering and Support

Flexible ordering and invoicing options, Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) logistics, account support, issue escalation, and alignment with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities.

As a valued customer with direct purchasing experience with our Supplier Partners, your feedback in the Supplier Recognition Program is crucial. Customer feedback is one of the focus areas used for SRP evaluations and survey (Net Promoter Score, NPS) is used for a customer feedback mechanism. The survey includes the list of suppliers who are eligible to participate in each year’s SRP. Survey result will be collected and shared back with the supplier partner by OECM.
