Access to qualified supplier partners offering repair and maintenance services for elevators, escalators, wheelchair lifts, platform lifts, and other applicable elevating devices, aligned with compliance standards and customer requirements.
Services include repairs, preventive maintenance, corrective/demand maintenance, emergency response, inspection and testing, maintenance reporting, accessibility device services, and Service Level Agreements to help maintain the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of your elevating devices.

- Corrective/Demand Maintenance Services: Troubleshooting and diagnosis of elevating device malfunctions, non-emergency repairs, repair or replacement of minor components, and documentation of corrective actions taken.
- Preventive Maintenance Services: Scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer recommendations, including inspection, lubrication, cleaning, adjustment, and minor calibration of elevating devices.
- Emergency Response Services: 24/7 emergency response availability, passenger entrapment response, emergency troubleshooting, stabilization of elevating devices, and defined escalation and communication procedures.
Compliance and Inspection Support
- Health and Safety Requirements: Services performed in accordance with applicable workplace health and safety requirements by qualified, trained, and licensed personnel using appropriate tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Compliance Standards Services: Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) requirements, Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Group B44 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, and other applicable standards.
- Inspection and Testing Support Services: Assistance with inspections and testing required by regulatory authorities, operational and safety testing, documentation and reporting of results, and support for audits or regulatory inquiries.
Operational and Advisory Support
- General Elevating Device Operational Support Services: Minor operational adjustments, observations, and recommendations to reduce recurring faults or service disruptions and support reliable operation.
- Accessibility Device Support Services: Maintenance and repair support for elevators, wheelchair lifts, platform lifts, and other applicable accessibility-related elevating devices.
- Advisory Support Services (Non-Engineering): High-level observations on equipment condition and performance, lifecycle and asset condition insights, and non-engineering recommendations related to modernization, upgrades, or replacement planning.
Customer Support and Service Delivery
- Maintenance Reporting and Documentation Services: Service reports, maintenance logs, service history records, deficiency reports, recommended corrective actions, and customer-accessible reporting formats.
- Customer Support and Communication Services: Defined service coordination and escalation processes, timely communication regarding service activities, outages, and emergencies, and coordination with customer representatives and building staff.
- Delivery Timelines and Service Commencement Services: Service commencement, response times, delivery timelines, and Service Level Agreements established in accordance with customer-specific requirements through the Second Stage Selection Process.

As a valued customer with direct purchasing experience with our Supplier Partners, your feedback in the Supplier Recognition Program is crucial. Customer feedback is one of the focus areas used for SRP evaluations and survey (Net Promoter Score, NPS) is used for a customer feedback mechanism. The survey includes the list of suppliers who are eligible to participate in each year’s SRP. Survey result will be collected and shared back with the supplier partner by OECM.
