OECM recently joined the Infrastructure Client Group (ICG), designed for public sector customers, with the Canadian Association for Sustainable Infrastructure Services (CASIS). CASIS works to champion innovative solutions, advocate for critical policy reforms, and foster cross-sector collaboration. They also work to drive transformative initiatives that will not only address our nation’s climate challenges but also pave the path towards a more prosperous and sustainable Canada, by being the driving force for a greener and more resilient tomorrow.
Joining CASIS has a two-fold benefit, explains Jay Chan, Senior Manager, Supplier Relationship Management at OECM. “It reinforces OECM’s commitment to fostering sustainable practices and building stronger communities through our dedication to ESGI engagement and community relations. Through OECM’s unique procurement strategies it also supports us in enabling customers to gain efficiency in procurement processes and accelerate their projects when possible.”
The ICG brings together Canada’s government and public sector infrastructure clients for the key purpose of leading the acceleration of sustainable investments in Canadian infrastructure benefitting the economy, society, and the environment. The ICG contributes to achieving an agenda that exceeds net zero by taking a people-focused, system-based view of infrastructure.
