Now entering its fifth year, the 2025 Supplier Recognition Program (SRP) continues to recognize exceptional Supplier Partner performance and their invaluable contributions to delivering outstanding value and service to our Customers.
The Supplier Recognition Program being piloted in 2019 as an integral first step in strengthening OECM’s relationships with supplier partners and driving greater performance, the SRP aims to drive long-term performance improvements by recognizing and motivating supplier partners to deliver continued savings, value, choice, and service to our customers.
Similar to 2024, the 2025 SRP includes an evaluation methodology that transitions from a score-based to a criteria-based evaluation approach.
Updates for 2025
For 2025, Customers can now submit testimonials in addition to completing Customer Satisfaction Surveys as part of the supplier evaluation process. Additionally, for 2025, the Strategic Alignment is ESGI (Environmental, Social, Governance, and Indigenous), which builds on last year’s focus on ESG by incorporating Indigenous engagement as a key component of the strategic alignment. This update reflects OECM’s ongoing commitment to fostering sustainable procurement practices and promoting inclusivity, including meaningful collaboration with Indigenous communities, in partnership with our Supplier Partners.
OECM’s Supplier Relationship Management team has collaborated with other OECM business units, including Marketing and Communications and Customer Relationship Management, to communicate the enhancements with our stakeholders through targeted communications, developing an updated guidebook to inform suppliers about the methodology, and monitoring the program to facilitate future improvements.
