Highlights
OECM Facilities Support Team (OFST) to Assist School Boards with CVRIS Project Needs
The government of Ontario recently announced the COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream – Education Related Projects. This initiative will provide up to $700 million in combined federal-provincial funding for education-related projects that protect the health and well-being of students and staff.
OECM and MEDU Provide Digital Learning Tools to Ontario’s Education Sector
This past year, OECM was pleased to announce our Digital Learning Tools offering available to Ontario’s education sector. The agreements were developed in consultation with Ontario’s Ministry of Education (MEDU) and various District School Boards across the province.
OECM Seeks School Board Interest in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project
OECM is spearheading an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System(s) project, anticipated to launch by mid-2022. OECM has received several Expressions of Interest requests from school boards across Ontario, communicating their interest to contribute and participate in the development of the RFP.
Exploring New Markets: Child Development and Rehabilitation Sector
OECM was approached by Empowered Kids Ontario to provide procurement advice and expertise regarding the acquisition and implementation of a Client Information System to support multiple system partners across the 50 organizations that comprise the child development/rehabilitation sector.

OECM highly values and supports continuous learning for our staff. At the start of the New Year, OECM’s Human Resources Department challenged staff to take the LinkedIn Learning Challenge.

COVID-19 has put a strain on Canadians’ mental health, and at OECM we are making efforts to ensure our staff are supported and have the tools necessary to maintain their mental health throughout the pandemic, and beyond.

OECM continues to host customer information sessions for newly awarded agreements and other knowledge-sharing webinars, as well as support our supplier partners by promoting their upcoming events and webinars.
OECM’s Holiday Ho-Ho-Hoedown
On Thursday, December 17, 2020, staff attended a virtual Holiday Ho-Ho-Hoedown. To kick off the event, staff were provided with a lunch allowance to support local businesses during COVID-19. The 90-minute event was full of fun, games, laughter, and tons of holiday cheer. Check out some pictures from the event!
