Ontario’s Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS), Supply Chain Ontario (SCO) and Ontario Shared Services (OSS), recently made changes to their Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Office Seating and Furniture. The VOR expired on July 31, 2020 and has been paused for a period of nine months.
In the interim, MGCS has recommended OECM’s Office Space Furniture and Related Services Agreements as an alternative option for organizations requiring seating and furniture goods and/or services during this time. Click here to read this announcement.
Customers now have access to even more choice of office space furniture products and related services, with the addition of new OEMs to the agreements with supplier partners, Patrick Cassidy and Associates Inc., and Staples Business Advantage, as well as, newly expanded zones for Manleys (1983) Ltd.
New OEMs and products were also added to the Educational Furniture and Related Services Agreements with Supplier Partners, Patrick Cassidy and Associates Inc. and Wintergreen Learning Materials.
In addition to the current selection of brands and manufacturers included under these agreements, OECM customers can now purchase products from new OEMs or access additional products, as follows:
Office Space Furniture and Related Services
- Manleys (1983) Ltd. has expanded their zones to include North East and North West zones. As a result, Steelcase products are now available in these zones. Please contact Manleys (1983) Ltd. for more information.
- Patrick Cassidy and Associates Inc. now offers furniture products from Workspace48 at a minimum discount of 55%
Staples Business Advantage now offers furniture products from OFGO and Nightingale
Educational Furniture and Related Services
- Patrick Cassidy and Associates Inc. now offers furniture products from Workspace48, Kimball, and Nightingale Corporation, with minimum discounts of 54.5%, 43%, and 54%, respectively
- Wintergreen Learning Materials now offers sanitation dispensers and wash stations from Copernicus Educational Products Inc.
Corresponding amendments, effective immediately, have been made to these agreements as applicable, and updated price and product lists, as well as the updated Supplier Partner Search Tool by Zone(s), are now available online.
