OECM, in collaboration with Dell Technologies and Advanced Learning Partnerships, is pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive portfolio of complimentary Professional Learning (PL) experiences – specially curated and designed by and for Ontario’s K-12 and post-secondary educators (i.e. faculty members, principals, teachers, coaches, classroom educators, etc.)
As part of OECM’s ongoing commitment to pursue innovative and creative solutions that foster an exceptional customer experience, we are delighted to provide Ontario’s K-12 and post-secondary educators with exclusive access to this new PL program. These interactive and diverse, application-based virtual webinars, courses and small-group collaborations are free to access and attend and are facilitated by accomplished education leaders. The sessions are organized in three pathways: Social and Emotional Learning, Equity and Inclusion, and Achieving Excellence and are designed to support Ontario’s K-12 and post-secondary educators as they reflect on and prepare to address the complex, unique challenges brought about by COVID-19.
With courses starting on August 30, 2021, and extending to January 2022, this series of engaging and practical virtual professional learning sessions is available exclusively to School Board, College and University educators only. New sessions will be added to the calendar in mid-October 2021. Educators are encouraged to check back often for updates. This inaugural program is offered by OECM through our End-User Computing Devices and Services Agreement with Platinum Supplier Partner, Dell Technologies.
As part of the program planning, design and drafting stage, Dell Technologies initiated consultations with diverse groups from School Boards, Colleges, and Universities across Ontario. As such, the final program offerings provide purposeful, attentive, and inclusive sessions that amplify the experience, skill, and wisdom of Ontario educators while reflecting current teaching and learning environments.
Please note, registration preference will be extended to Ontario-based educators, however space permitting, educators from outside of Ontario may also elect to participate in this emerging professional community. To encourage maximum attendance and interest, OECM customers are invited to share the Schedule of Events with their colleagues who support faculties, school principals, coaches, and classroom educators.
