OECM to host interactive, application-based professional learning for Ontario educators beginning this summer! Seeking immediate feedback from School Board, College and University sector customers about key priorities for virtual sessions.
OECM is pleased to announce that in collaboration with Dell Technologies and Advanced Learning Partnerships, we will be providing exclusive access to a portfolio of free, high-quality Professional Learning (PL) experiences – specially curated and designed by and for Ontario’s K-12 and post-secondary educators.
As part of OECM’s ongoing commitment to pursue innovative and creative solutions that foster an exceptional customer experience, we are delighted to provide our education sector customers with exclusive access to this new PL program. Starting this summer and extending to January 2022, this series of engaging and practical virtual professional learning sessions will be available to OECM’s School Board, College and University sector customers, through our End-User Computing Devices and Services agreement with Platinum Supplier Partner, Dell Technologies.
Request for Feedback on Draft Proposal
A critical step in personalizing these PL sessions is to engage Ontario educators in identifying relevant themes, facilitation modes and norms. Our foremost goal is to provide purposeful, attentive, and inclusive sessions that amplify the experience, skill, and wisdom of Ontario educators. As part of the preliminary program planning, design and drafting stage, Dell Technologies initiated consultations with diverse groups from school boards, colleges, and universities across Ontario.
To ensure that we are facilitating a program that reflects current teaching and learning environments and meets the specific needs of all our customers, OECM invites you to take a few moments to review and provide your feedback to the draft Professional Learning program proposal linked below. This document offers an initial vision for how highly-qualified facilitators might engage with Ontario educators through this community. We ask that you use the link below to share your feedback and insights regarding specific areas of prioritized need. Your feedback will be incorporated into the customized design and facilitation of session topics as the program rolls out this summer.

These OECM-hosted Professional Learning sessions will be facilitated at convenient times and tailored to support our customers’ specific teaching and learning goals. Designed to prepare all learners for our rapidly evolving society, workforce, and democracy, the sessions will focus on areas of pedagogy that are relevant to the dynamic challenges and opportunities that exist across the education sector.
