OECM’s Roofing Contractor Services agreements provide access to a Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement with pre-qualified suppliers for a variety of different types of roofing systems on commercial and institutional buildings, in the following two (2) categories:

Category A – Roofing contractor service projects under $500,000 each

Our supplier partner, ICI Roofing Ltd., offers Category A only

Category B – Roofing contractor service projects over $500,000 each

All Category B awarded suppliers satisfy Category A.

These services can be applied to the following roofing systems:

  • Built-up roofing, e.g., Hot and Cold Process
  • Single-ply roofing, e.g., Thermoset, Thermoplastic Polyolefin (“TPO”), Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer (“EPDM”), and Polyvinyl Chloride (“PVC”))
  • Two-ply roofing, e.g., Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (“SBS”) Modified Bitumen
  • Other roofing systems, e.g., Metal; Lightweight concrete; and Green

What You’ll Get

Access to suppliers who are qualified to provide services in a professional manner (e.g., have licences, certifications, and training) and that are in compliance with all Applicable Laws, including:

  • Ontario Building Code;
  • Canadian Standards Association (“CSA Group”);
  • Ontario Plumbing Code;
  • Ontario Fire Marshal;
  • National Building Code of Canada;
  • National Fire Protection Association; and,
  • Underwriters Laboratories Canada (“ULC”).
  • Other accepted standards and practices, such as the Use of Personal Protection Equipment, Elevated Work Platform, Work at Heights, and the Fall Protection Program

OECM’s Roofing Contractor Services agreements do not include pricing. Customers can specify their own specific services requirements and request pricing using a second stage selection process. This process provides flexibility and the option to seek prices for their specific needs and further define their scope of services to identify the supplier partner best suited to meet their needs. These specifications may include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling details
• Other requirements

As a valued customer with direct purchasing experience with our Supplier Partners, your feedback in the Supplier Recognition Program is crucial. Customer feedback is one of the focus areas used for SRP evaluations and survey (Net Promoter Score, NPS) is used for a customer feedback mechanism. The survey includes the list of suppliers who are eligible to participate in each year’s SRP. Survey result will be collected and shared back with the supplier partner by OECM.
